About this print: I wanted to paint something that illustrates what it’s like to come out of a long, dark, difficult time: depression, grief, trauma. It’s a painting about the honor in continuing to live through the darkness, trusting that the planet is spinning towards the sun. Trusting that eventually you will stand in your own well-earned light.
